Contrôle des frontières renforcé à Ceuta
L’attention de plusieurs médias a été portée sur la décision du Maroc de renforcer ses moyens de contrôle à la frontière de Ceuta. Ils sont revenus sur ce le communiqué qui a été relayé par l’agence de presse espagnole EFE.
Le Huffpostmaghreb a rapporté que les forces d’ordre marocaines ont choisi de raffermir leurs outils de contrôle autour du poste frontalier à Ceuta pour faire obstacle à l’arrivée des « migrants originaires d’Afrique subsaharienne ».
D’après Yabiladi, les autorités marocaines auraient mis en place des postes de contrôle fixes à plusieurs endroits afin de « permettre une plus grande réaction lorsqu’un groupe d’immigrés subsahariens », qui attendent dans les montagnes marocaines, tentent de s’introduire irrégulièrement à Ceuta.

Dans une dépêche publiée sur le site de la MAP, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, le président de la Chambre des députés irlandaise, a rendu hommage, mardi à Rabat, au caractère important du premier plan du Maroc au niveau international en ce qui concerne la gestion des migrations et des changements d’ordre climatique.
Le Maroc réitère son engagement dans l’effort international de lutte contre la traite des êtres humains
A l’occasion de la séance d’ouverture d’une session de formation des formateurs en matière de lutte contre la traite des humains organisée du 7 au 11 janvier, Ahmed Chaouki Benyoub, le nouveau délégué interministériel aux droits de l’Homme, a réaffirmé l’irrévocable engagement du Maroc concernant la lutte contre la traite des personnes.
Benyoub a précisé dans cette rencontre qu’un « intérêt particulier est accordé aux programmes et actions menés par l’Office des Nations unies contre la drogue et le crime pour la lutte contre la traite des personnes ». Il a également communiqué que « la délégation interministérielle prête serment de contribuer à ces efforts à travers l’élaboration de rapports et des travaux de recherche sur cette thématique ».
« Presque toutes les arrestations de mineurs en Catalogne concernent des Marocains »
Le quotidien catalan El Periódico a fait savoir que «les mineurs marocains âgés de 13 à 18 ans font l’objet de toutes les arrestations pour vols commis par des mineurs» en Catalogne et ce tout au long de l’année 2018.
Ce constat résulte des données collectées par les Mossos d’Esquadra, les forces de police catalanes ainsi que d’un rapport émis par la Direction générale de l’attention aux enfants et aux adolescents (DGAIA).
Yabiladi précise qu’un rapport de la DGAIA affirme que 19% des 3 235 mineurs des mineurs se trouvant dans les centres dédiés montrent un «faible taux de coexistence» et ont déjà consommé de la drogue, la plus répondue étant la colle.
